Titiana

Dear Readers

This post pays ode to Maria Pryor. After studying Fine Arts and Fashion Design at the Marangoni Institute in Milan, Italy, she embarked on a beautiful journey that lead to the inception of her self-titled label..The exquisite detailing on her clothes and dark, yet whimsical feel transports me to a place where- mythical beasts roam the land and the only humanoid life forms are fairies and banshees. She would be the perfect costume designer for Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer's Night Dream.'  (The dresses are from her 2012 'La Ronda' collection).

I could quite happily live in her Atelier.  Absolutely breath-taking.

The Beginning and the End.

Dear Readers we are nearing the end of summer. Those you living in the northern part of our planet are probably experiencing some warmer weather & anticipating the glorious summer days. The point of my rambling is this: my post is relevant to everyone.

Seafolly has been around since 1975. And it is still omnipresent in Australian beach lifestyle. With Behati Prinsloo as the current face of the brand, I'm not surprised the brand is still going strong.  The interesting mixture of old Hollywood and tropical -inspired costumes,  all served with a sultry twist makes for some pretty hot stuff.

I thought that it would only be fitting to let the pictures speak for themselves. I hope you enjoyed this post.

Daydreams : Leopard print and Ruffles

Dear Readers

It's mid-week and despite the unbearable heat, I was in high spirits(which probably has something to do with the dragon fruit smoothie I had for lunch). As a direct result of all the happiness I felt, I decided to spend a couple of minutes daydreaming in my garden.

I put this look together in an effort to keep cool but still look smart enough for all the running around I had to do.  I love my leopard print scarf. It's an unusual colour (malachite) and incredibly versatile, which has made it one of my favourite accessories (especially when it comes to covering up bad hair days). I paired it with a white,  cotton ruffle shirt, black jeggings and peep-toe heels.
